BitNami, Twuffer and AddThis
Just some bits and pieces I've come across this week.
Twuffer
Twuffer is a Twitter buffer. Say that 5 times fast! Twuffer allows the Twitter user to compose a list of future tweets, and schedule their release. Good for post dated scheduled content.
AddThis
AddThis is a social bookmarking application. I'm sure there is a module for Drupal for this already, but its incredibly simple to add to just about any site out there.
BitNami
BitNami is hard to describe. Essentially its a pre-packaged installer for specific open source apps, including Drupal, Joomla, SugarCRM and more. The stack includes everything need to run that app on just about any platform, in one simple install. For instance, it will install Apache, PHP, MySQL and Drupal all at once.
Seems like a great dev tool. Not sure how hardened everything is for a production level install, but for testing, it seems one step better than the LAMP/WAMP stacks out there. BitNami also has stacks for LAMP, etc. as well.

Add This
Ron,
In fact AddThis is on our site here. There are others like it. One issue I have with it is that it opens a pop-up.

I've seen other implementations of this that use JavaScript to expand a box from the link, rather than a popup. I agree, the popup is an issue.
