FVCP Speaking at CBEID in Geneva
The Center for Business Education, Innovation and Development (CBEID) has asked the FVCP to supply some speakers for this evening and talk on "Digital capabilities you must have to run a 21st century business".
We are honored by this request and providing the following:
Walter Bamert will present on SugarCRM, an Open Source CRM (customer relationship management) application. (www.sugarcrm.com)
Bob Snodgrass will present on Drupal, an Open Source CMS (content management system). This is a framework in which to build fully controllable and interactive websites allowing the business to manage the content and not relying on outside web specialists.
I will give a presentation on SEO (Search Engine Optimization); the facts in generating traffic and interest to a business website. Did you know that the search engines do NOT want to send traffic to your site? SEO is not some mystical, secret practice but rather a solid understanding of what the search engines.
For those of you that have seen my SEO 101 class, this is the new stuff that you haven't heard yet.
